Deliver an event that extols the virtues
of great beer with fine food


Tasked with creating a consumer-facing event for Britain’s brewers, on behalf of The British Beer and Pub Association (BBPA), face was instrumental in establishing The Great Beer and Fine Food Show.

Over the past few years beer at the dinner table has made a comeback, the BBPA wanted to build on this with an initiative that effectively communicated the diversity and enjoyment to be obtained from, the consumption and use of quality British beer and food.
face took on the mammoth task of planning, organising, branding and promoting the show, targeting discerning consumers who wanted to discover more about great beer and quality food.
Using the strapline — a ‘Celebration of Good Taste’, face effectively branded the event, developing advertising, show catalogues, mailers and show graphics.
Attracting over 5,000 people, the event featured a celebrity chef theatre, with the likes of Antony Worrall Thompson and James Martin demonstrating tasty dishes to enjoy with beer. Tutored tasting sessions, encouraging the audience to taste different beers and foods, beers from the nations top brewers and fine speciality foods from quality regional producers.
