We need an Annual Report that clearly
reflects our recent achievements.
After successfully pitching for this project, and winning it for the second consecutive year, we were tasked with producing an Annual Report which clearly highlighted the past years successes for this forward thinking education
authority.
Education Leeds is a not-for profit company, wholly owned by Leeds City Council. The company provides support services for primary schools, secondary schools, special schools
and specialist inclusive learning centres and administers the functions of the
Local Education Authority in
Leeds regarding the provision of education to school-aged children.
The Annual Report is the key corporate document that seeks to communicate and celebrate the best of education in Leeds and Education Leeds to all its stakeholders. The publication needed to convey its vision, values, culture and ethos, as well as promoting key successes of the previous 12 months.
Based around the theme of ‘Together’, the report highlights the organisation’s achievements under bold sub-headings that reflect Education Leeds’ key objectives.
A typographic execution on the front cover is enhanced by clear foil blocking print techniques, whilst bright, vibrant imagery depicts pupils at work, with case studies used to emphasise major successes. The reader is taken through a creatively stimulating and easy to follow synopsis of the year’s accomplishments.
Feedback on the work is that the publication reflects Education Leeds’ reputation for creativity and innovation, with ‘a strongly themed design that has instant visual impact and a very contemporary feel.’
